A living room rug should sit under the front legs of every seat, with an even border of floor beyond it. Send the dimensions, a floor plan or a photograph, and the rug is cut to them. Rounds, squares and forms drawn around furniture are made the same way, and every design in the customisable collection can be made in your size and colour.

Materials for Mumbai

The city is humid for much of the year and wet through the monsoon. New Zealand wool is the dependable choice: dense, resilient and quick to recover underfoot. Silk and wool and silk weaves give a low sheen that suits formal rooms and bedrooms. Jute gives a firmer, more textured surface, and is best kept to rooms that stay dry and aired. For a piece meant to stay with the family, a hand-knotted rug is the traditional construction.

Every rug is hand-tufted, handwoven, handloom woven or hand-knotted, then finished and bound before delivery to Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. Delivery is complimentary across India. Rugs held in stock arrive within 7 to 10 days. Made-to-measure pieces take 30 days when hand-tufted or handwoven, 35 days on the handloom and 60 days when hand-knotted, and designs in the Quick Custom Program are finished to your dimensions in 10 days.

Interior designers and architects work with us through the Rugberry Trade Program. Drawings are prepared to scale against your floor plan, and colours are matched to the scheme rather than to a catalogue.

Yes. Send us the dimensions of the room and the rug is made to them, in any size, any shape and any colour.

How long does a rug take?

Rugs held in stock are delivered within 7 to 10 days. Made-to-measure pieces take 30 to 35 days, or 60 days when hand-knotted, with delivery added to that. The Quick Custom Program takes 10 days.
