• Blot spills straight away with a dry white cloth, from the outside of the mark inward, since silk dislikes rubbing.
• Lift crushed areas under furniture legs by brushing the pile gently against its lie with your fingers.
• Rotate the rug every six months so one side does not take all the sun from a window.
