About this rug
Gold Stream is a hand tufted rug in New Zealand wool. New Zealand wool is a Terra grade fibre (Grade I), chosen for strength, natural texture and everyday living. Hand tufting means each yarn is pushed through a backing cloth by hand, then sheared level and finished.
It feels soft and even, with a dense pile that holds its shape. The colour sits in gold, and the interest comes from texture more than pattern. It is listed in 5x8, 6x9 and 8x10 ft. Stain resistant coating
Applied at the end of making, before the rug leaves us. A spill beads on the surface instead of sinking into the pile, so you have time to lift it off with a cloth.

Rug underlay
A pad cut to the size of your rug and laid underneath it. It is the difference between a rug that sits and a rug that travels.
- Holds the rug still, so corners stop creeping and curling.
- Softens the step and adds a little height underfoot.
- Keeps grit off the back of the rug, which is what wears a pile down.
