Which Rugberry rugs are in stock in all six sizes?
At the time of writing, two lines hold every one of the six sizes in stock: the Cashmere Blend Rug in Natural, Salt and Taupe, and the Plush Wool Rug in Sand. These are the safest choices if you need a rug quickly in a large size.

- Cashmere Blend Rug in Natural: handloom woven in a wool and cashmere blend at 16 mm, fine, dense and very soft underfoot, from ₹43,200 for 5x8 ft. Salt and Taupe are held in the same six sizes. Read about the line in the Cashmere Blend collection.
- Plush Wool Rug in Sand: handloom New Zealand wool with a deep, quiet pile at 18 to 20 mm, from ₹32,000 for 5x8 ft. The Plush collection guide covers the other colours.
Every other Studio Collection colour is also listed in the six sizes, but stock is held in fewer of them at any time. Treat this list as a snapshot, not a promise: it was checked against live stock on the day of writing.
How do you check whether your size is in stock?
Check your size on the product page, then confirm with the Rugberry team that it is held in stock before you pay. The team will tell you whether that colour and size is on the shelf or will be made for you.
Stock is held colour by colour and size by size, so the same rug can be in stock at 6x9 ft and not at 8x10 ft. On the day of writing, for example, the Grain Wool Rug in Tan was held at 6x9 and 9x12 ft, while the Plush Wool Rug in Sand was held in all six.
- Pick the colour first, then the size. Colour is the harder decision to change later.
- Select the size on the product page and note the price for that size.
- Confirm stock with the team before ordering, especially if the date matters, for example before a wedding or a housewarming.
- Ask about a nearby size if yours is not held; a 9x12 ft often works where an 8x10 ft was planned.
Our rug buying checklist lists the other questions worth asking before you order.
Choose the colour you love, then the size the room needs. Stock should be the last question, not the first.
How do you choose between the six sizes?
Choose the size by the furniture, not the room: in a living room the front legs of every seat should sit on the rug, and under a bed the rug should show at least 45 to 60 cm on each side. Measure the furniture group, add the margin, then pick the nearest standard size.

- Living room with a three seater sofa: 6x9 ft in a compact room, 8x10 ft if there are armchairs too.
- L shaped sofa: 9x12 ft, so both arms of the L sit on the rug. See rugs for an L shaped sofa.
- Queen bed: 6x9 ft across the lower two thirds, or 8x10 ft for a fuller frame.
- King bed: 8x10 or 9x12 ft.
- Dining table for six: 8x10 or 9x12 ft, so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Open plan villa living: 10x14 or 12x15 ft, one rug for the whole seating group.
Mark the size on the floor with masking tape before ordering and live with it for a day. Our rug size mistakes post shows the common errors, and the living room size guide goes deeper.
What if the size or colour you want is not in stock?
If the size or colour you want is not in stock, Rugberry can make it to measure, in any of the six standard sizes or any other size, shape or colour. Every Studio Collection design can be ordered this way.
Made to measure is the right route in three cases. The first is a room that needs a size between the standards, such as 7x10 ft. The second is a colour that is not held, or a colour matched to your upholstery. The third is a shape other than a rectangle, such as a round or an irregular outline.
Before ordering, ask for a swatch to check the colour in your own light. Our guides to custom vs ready stock rugs and the Quick Custom Programme explain the options. You can also browse every rug by size in the 8x10 ft rugs collection and the other size collections.
How do you plan a rug purchase around a date?
Plan a rug purchase around a date by choosing a rug that is held in stock in your size, and by confirming that stock with the Rugberry team before you order. A made to measure rug takes longer, so start it well ahead of any occasion.
Many rug purchases in India are tied to a date: a housewarming, Diwali, a wedding at home or family arriving from abroad. For those, the six standard sizes are the fastest route, because a rug already on the shelf only needs to be packed and sent. Rugberry offers complimentary delivery across India.
- Fixed date, flexible colour: start from the two lines held in all six sizes, Cashmere Blend and Plush Sand, then look at the other colours held in your size.
- Fixed colour, flexible date: if your colour is not held in your size, order it made to measure and plan the room around its arrival.
- Fixed size, fixed date: ask the team for every colour held in that size today, and choose from that list.
- Two rugs for one home: confirm both sizes at once, so one room is not finished weeks before the other.
Keep the packaging until the rug is unrolled and checked in place. If something is not right, Rugberry's policies on the website explain the next step. Our guide to buying your first handmade rug covers what to expect when it arrives, including the light shedding that is normal in the first weeks.
Which Studio Collection lines come in the six sizes?
The Studio Collection includes Plush, Grain, Luma, Solaris, Meraki, Insignia, Cabra, Cashmere Blend and Savannah, and each is listed in the six standard sizes. Their fibres, constructions and feel differ, so the size is only half the choice.

- Plush: handloom New Zealand wool, 18 to 20 mm, soft and deep, from ₹32,000 for 5x8 ft.
- Grain: handloom New Zealand wool, 12 to 14 mm, low and closely textured, from ₹29,600.
- Luma: handloom Botanical Silk, 10 mm, such as the Luma Silk Rug in Greige, from ₹28,000.
- Cashmere Blend: handloom wool and cashmere blend, 16 mm, from ₹43,200.
- Solaris: hand tufted New Zealand wool Ombré, 14 to 16 mm, from ₹35,200.
Prices are ex GST, at the time of writing, from each product page. Browse everything in all rugs, and read rug prices by size to see how price scales from 5x8 to 12x15 ft.
If you are furnishing several rooms at once, list every room with its furniture size before you start, then match each to one of the six sizes. A single order is easier to confirm against stock, and the rugs can be chosen to sit well together from room to room.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes do Rugberry rugs come in?
Six, for every Studio Collection rug: 5x8, 6x9, 8x10, 9x12, 10x14 and 12x15 ft. Anything in between, a runner or a round piece is made to measure, in any size, shape or colour.
Are all Rugberry rugs in stock in every size?
No. Every Studio Collection rug is listed in the six sizes, but stock varies by colour and size and changes often. Select your size on the product page and confirm stock with the Rugberry team before ordering.
Which Rugberry rugs are in stock in all six sizes?
Four rugs, checked on rugberry.in at the time of writing: the Cashmere Blend Rug in Natural, Salt and Taupe, and the Plush Wool Rug in Sand. Stock moves as rugs sell, so the size selector on each product page is the live answer.
What size rug do I need for a living room in India?
Most Indian living rooms with a three seater sofa and two chairs need an 8x10 ft rug, so the front legs of every seat sit on it. A compact 2BHK living room may suit 6x9 ft, and an L shaped sofa usually needs 9x12 ft.
Can I order a size that is not in stock?
Yes. Rugberry makes rugs to measure in any size, shape or colour, including the six standard sizes when your colour is not held. Ask for a swatch first to check the colour at home.
Ready when you are. Material first.
